User-selected photos or images: Photos/images selected by the user for Glow Check or Best Photo Picker analysis.
Analysis mode or goal: The selected mode or goal, such as Glow Check, Best Photo Picker, general feedback, profile-related feedback, or platform fit.
AI analysis results: Generated feedback, scores, retake suggestions, platform fit feedback, and photo setup notes.
Local history: Analysis history stored locally on the user’s device.
Basic technical request data: Limited technical data necessary to operate the service, such as request metadata, server logs, error logs, and data required to provide secure backend processing.

Glow or No does not collect name, email address, precise location, contacts, payment information, health data, or account credentials. No login is required.

Photos are collected only when the user chooses a photo from Camera or Library, or selects multiple photos for Best Photo Picker.
Analysis mode/goal is collected only when selected by the user in the app.
Local history is created only after analysis results are generated.
Technical request data is processed automatically as necessary to operate the backend service.

04 — Third-Party AI Processing

Third-Party AI Processing with OpenAI

Glow or No uses OpenAI as a third-party AI service provider to generate AI photo feedback.

When the user chooses to analyze a photo or use Best Photo Picker, Glow or No may send the following data securely to our backend and to OpenAI:

The photo or photos selected by the user
The selected analysis mode or goal
Prompt instructions required to generate safe photo-focused feedback
Basic technical request data required to provide the service

This data is used only to generate photo setup feedback, including lighting, framing, background, clarity, camera angle, crop, retake suggestions, platform fit, and best-photo ranking.

Glow or No does not send the user’s name, email address, contacts, precise location, payment information, health data, or account credentials to OpenAI.

OpenAI is used only as a service provider for generating the requested AI analysis. OpenAI provides privacy and security protections for the data it processes as a service provider. Glow or No does not allow OpenAI processing for advertising, user tracking, or sale of user data by Glow or No.

Before any photo is sent for AI analysis, Glow or No asks for explicit in-app permission.

The consent screen explains:

that selected photo(s) may be sent to our backend and OpenAI
that OpenAI is the third-party AI provider
what data is sent
why the data is sent
that the data is used to generate photo setup feedback
that Glow or No does not sell user data or use photos for advertising or tracking

If the user does not agree, Glow or No does not send photos to the backend or to OpenAI for analysis.

Glow or No shares selected photos and related analysis request data with OpenAI only after the user gives explicit in-app permission.

We do not sell user data.
We do not share photos with advertisers.
We do not use photos for tracking.
We do not share data with Claude, Google Gemini, or other AI model providers.
We may use infrastructure/service providers such as hosting or backend providers only as necessary to operate the app securely.

Data Retention

Analysis history may be stored locally on the user’s device.
The user can clear history in the app settings.
Glow or No does not intentionally store uploaded photos on its backend after the analysis request is completed.
Server-side processing is intended only to generate the requested analysis.
Some temporary processing, security, or diagnostic logs may be created by infrastructure providers as necessary to operate and protect the service.

Glow or No is not directed to children under 13. Users should not upload images of others without permission.

Users can choose not to accept AI processing consent.
Users can clear local analysis history in Settings.

We use reasonable safeguards and secure transmission methods, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
