Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Slay or Nay, a mobile application developed and operated by Centaur Studios ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using Slay or Nay, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the application.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Centaur Studios. Please read them carefully.
02 — Description of Service
Description of Service
Slay or Nay is an AI-powered outfit rating application that allows users to upload photos of their clothing and receive automated feedback generated by artificial intelligence.
The application provides:
- AI-generated outfit analysis and scores
- Humorous, constructive fashion feedback across different intensity levels
- Shareable result cards for social media
- Local roast history storage
- Premium subscription features (unlimited roasts and additional modes)
AI Disclaimer: All feedback generated by Slay or Nay is produced by artificial intelligence and is intended for entertainment and general fashion guidance purposes only. AI responses are not the opinion of Centaur Studios and should not be taken as professional fashion advice.
03 — Eligibility
Eligibility
You must be at least 12 years of age to use Slay or Nay, consistent with our App Store age rating.
By using the application, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 12 years old
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- Your use of the application does not violate any applicable law or regulation
- If you are under 18, you have obtained parental or guardian consent
04 — Acceptable Use
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Slay or Nay only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Upload photos of other people without their explicit consent
- Upload photos containing nudity, sexually explicit content, or content that violates Apple's App Store guidelines
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
- Use the application to harass, bully, or harm any individual
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or exploit the application's AI features
- Use automated scripts, bots, or other methods to generate excessive API requests
- Share AI-generated feedback in a manner intended to humiliate or harm a specific individual
- Attempt to extract or misuse API keys or backend credentials
- Use the application in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services
Zero tolerance: Any use of this application to bully, harass, or harm individuals is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of access.
05 — User Content & Photos
User Content & Photos
When you upload a photo to Slay or Nay, you retain ownership of that photo. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to transmit that photo to our AI processing provider (Google Gemini) solely for the purpose of generating outfit feedback.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own the photo or have the right to use it
- The photo does not violate any third party's intellectual property rights
- The photo does not contain inappropriate, explicit, or illegal content
- If the photo contains other individuals, you have their consent to upload it
Photos are processed by Google Gemini and are not permanently stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
06 — Subscriptions & Payments
Subscriptions & Payments
Slay or Nay offers a free tier with limited roasts and an optional Premium subscription for enhanced features.
Regarding payments and subscriptions:
- All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store's in-app purchase system
- Subscription pricing is displayed clearly before purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
- Centaur Studios does not have access to your payment information
- Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies
To cancel your subscription: Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iOS device and cancel Slay or Nay Premium.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
07 — Intellectual Property
Intellectual Property
The Slay or Nay application, including its name, logo, design, code, AI prompts, Slaymeter system, and all associated content, is the exclusive property of Centaur Studios and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the application or its content
- Use the Slay or Nay name, logo, or branding without written permission
- Create derivative works based on the application
- Use the application for commercial purposes without express written consent
AI-generated outfit feedback belongs to no party and is provided as-is for entertainment purposes. You may share individual roast results for personal, non-commercial use.
08 — Disclaimer of Warranties
Disclaimer of Warranties
Slay or Nay is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Centaur Studios does not warrant that:
- The application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure
- AI-generated feedback will be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for any purpose
- The application will meet your specific requirements or expectations
- Any defects or errors will be corrected
Entertainment only: AI-generated outfit feedback is for entertainment and general guidance purposes. It does not constitute professional fashion advice and should not be relied upon as such.
09 — Limitation of Liability
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Centaur Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Slay or Nay.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Loss of data or roast history
- Emotional distress resulting from AI-generated feedback
- Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account or data
- Any actions taken based on AI-generated fashion advice
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the application shall not exceed the amount you paid for the application in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10 — Termination
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Slay or Nay at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe:
- Violates these Terms of Use
- Is harmful to other users, us, or third parties
- Involves fraudulent or abusive use of the application
- Violates applicable laws or regulations
You may stop using the application at any time by uninstalling it. If you have a Premium subscription, cancel it through your Apple ID settings to avoid future charges.
Upon termination, your right to use the application ceases immediately. Locally stored data will be removed upon uninstallation.
11 — Governing Law
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Slay or Nay shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Turkey.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
