This Privacy Policy explains how Centaur Studios ("we", "us", "our") processes personal data in connection with the Pusula mobile application (the "App"). By using Pusula, you agree to this Policy.

1. What Data We Collect
Pusula does not require account creation or login. We do not collect information that directly identifies you (name, email, phone number, etc.).

Pusula does not collect your location, microphone recordings (verse audio playback is one-way listening, not recording), or payment information (version 1 has no paid features).
2. AI Processing
The text you write is sent to the Google Gemini API (Google LLC) in order to find the most relevant verse and generate a personalized commentary, dua, or chat reply. This text is processed under Google's relevant API usage policies. What you write is linked only to your anonymous device identifier, never to your name, email, or other identifying information.
Important: Pusula's AI-generated commentary is not a religious ruling or fatwa; it is intended for spiritual support and inspiration. See our Terms of Use for more detail.
3. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your data. To operate the service, limited data is shared with the following sub-processors:
- Google LLC (Gemini API) — processing the text you write (verse matching, commentary/dua/chat generation).
- Supabase Inc. — storing daily usage-limit counters and anonymous search records.
- PostHog (EU servers) — anonymous usage/interaction analytics. You can turn this off from Settings > Privacy or from the toggle on the first-launch screen.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta SDK) — ad performance measurement. On iOS, your advertising identifier (IDFA) is used only if you grant the "Tracking" permission; otherwise Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork mechanism is used. These providers' servers may be located outside Türkiye (e.g., EU, US); your data may be transferred internationally as a result.
4. Analytics and Advertising Choices
- Usage analytics (PostHog) is on by default but is entirely optional. You can turn it off at first launch or anytime from Settings; once disabled, no usage data is sent.
- Ad tracking (Meta/IDFA) is governed by Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS; if you decline, no personalized ad measurement occurs.
5. How Long We Keep Your Data
Your device identifier and search records are kept for as long as necessary to operate the service and prevent abuse. Your favorites, history, and journey progress are stored on your device; uninstalling the app deletes this data. You may request deletion of server-side records (see Section 7).
6. Children's Privacy
Pusula is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will delete their data.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under Turkey's Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK, Law No. 6698) or, for users in the EU/EEA, the GDPR, including the right to:
- Learn whether your data is being processed,
- Request information about data we hold on you,
- Request correction or deletion of your data,
- Object to processing,
- Learn which third parties your data has been shared with.
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@centaurstudios.online. Because your identifier is anonymous, we may need you to provide your device ID (found in the Settings screen) to process your request.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you within the app of any material changes. The current version is always available on this page.

1. Hangi Verileri Topluyoruz
Pusula'da hesap oluşturma veya giriş yapma yoktur. Kimliğinizi doğrudan belirleyen bilgiler (ad, e-posta, telefon numarası vb.) toplamayız.

Pusula; konum bilginizi, mikrofon kaydınızı (sesli ayet dinleme tek yönlü oynatımdır, kayıt almaz) veya ödeme bilginizi (sürüm 1'de ücretli özellik yoktur) toplamaz.
2. Yapay Zeka ile İşleme
Yazdığınız metinler, size en uygun ayeti bulmak ve kişiselleştirilmiş bir yorum/dua/sohbet yanıtı üretmek amacıyla Google Gemini API'sine (Google LLC) gönderilir. Bu metinler Google'ın ilgili API kullanım politikalarına göre işlenir. Yazdıklarınız, kimliğinizle (ad, e-posta vb.) eşleştirilmeden, yalnızca anonim cihaz kimliğiyle ilişkilendirilir.
Önemli: Pusula'daki yapay zeka yorumları dinî bir hüküm/fetva değildir; manevi destek ve ilham amaçlıdır. Bkz. Kullanım Şartları.
3. Verilerinizi Kimlerle Paylaşıyoruz
Verilerinizi satmıyoruz. Hizmeti sunabilmek için aşağıdaki alt yüklenicilerle (sub-processor) sınırlı ölçüde veri paylaşılır:
- Google LLC (Gemini API) — yazdığınız metinlerin işlenmesi (ayet eşleştirme, yorum/dua/sohbet üretimi).
- Supabase Inc. — günlük kullanım sınırı sayaçları ve anonim arama kayıtlarının saklanması.
- PostHog (AB sunucuları) — anonim kullanım/etkileşim analitiği. Bunu Ayarlar > Gizlilik bölümünden veya ilk açılış ekranındaki anahtarla kapatabilirsiniz.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta SDK) — reklam etkinliği ölçümü. iOS'ta yalnızca "Takip" izni verirseniz reklam kimliğiniz (IDFA) kullanılır; izin vermediğinizde Apple'ın gizlilik-korumalı SKAdNetwork mekanizması kullanılır. Bu sağlayıcıların sunucuları Türkiye dışında (örn. AB, ABD) bulunabilir; verileriniz bu kapsamda yurt dışına aktarılabilir.
4. Analitik ve Reklam Tercihleri
- Kullanım analitiği (PostHog) varsayılan olarak açıktır ama tamamen isteğe bağlıdır. İlk açılışta ve istediğiniz zaman Ayarlar ekranından kapatabilirsiniz; kapattığınızda hiçbir kullanım verisi gönderilmez.
- Reklam takibi (Meta/IDFA) iOS'ta Apple'ın "App Tracking Transparency" izniyle yönetilir; izin vermediğinizde kişiselleştirilmiş reklam ölçümü yapılmaz.
5. Verilerinizi Ne Kadar Süre Saklıyoruz
Cihaz kimliğiniz ve arama kayıtlarınız, hizmetin çalışması ve kötüye kullanımın önlenmesi için gerekli olduğu sürece saklanır. Favoriler, geçmiş ve yolculuk ilerlemeniz cihazınızda saklanır; uygulamayı silmeniz bu verileri siler. Sunucu tarafındaki kayıtların silinmesini talep edebilirsiniz (Bölüm 7).
6. Çocukların Gizliliği
Pusula, 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir ve bilerek onlardan veri toplamaz. 13 yaşın altında olduğunu öğrendiğimiz bir kullanıcının verilerini sileriz.
7. Haklarınız
Türkiye'de 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK) kapsamında; Avrupa Birliği/AEA'da bulunan kullanıcılar için GDPR kapsamında aşağıdaki haklara sahipsiniz:
- Verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme,
- İşlenen verileriniz hakkında bilgi talep etme,
- Verilerinizin düzeltilmesini veya silinmesini talep etme,
- İşlemeye itiraz etme,
- Verilerinizin aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri öğrenme.
Bu haklarınızı kullanmak için privacy@centaurstudios.online adresinden bize ulaşabilirsiniz. Anonim cihaz kimliğiniz nedeniyle, talebinizi işleyebilmemiz için cihaz kimliğinizi (Ayarlar ekranında bulunur) bizimle paylaşmanız gerekebilir.
8. Güvenlik
Verilerinizi korumak için makul teknik ve idari tedbirler alıyoruz. Ancak internet üzerinden hiçbir aktarım veya depolama yönteminin %100 güvenli olduğu garanti edilemez.
9. Bu Politikadaki Değişiklikler
Bu politikayı zaman zaman güncelleyebiliriz. Önemli değişikliklerde uygulama içinde bilgilendirme yapılır. Güncel sürüm her zaman bu sayfada yer alır.
